Entry Requirements
For undergraduate courses:
We welcome applications from US students holding a good High School Diplomas plus one of the following: SAT I combined score of 1200+, SAT II individual scores of 600+, two AP tests at grade 3 or above, ACT scores of 26+ or IB scores of 26+.

If you have attended a community college or would like to transfer to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ, you may be considered for advanced entry into year 2 or 3 of a relevant degree course. Please email International@qmu.ac.uk with your education details to find out if you're eligible.
For postgraduate courses:
We will consider applications from students holding a good Bachelors degree from a recognised university.
Please note that the above is given for guidance only and that entry requirements will vary between courses. We may also be looking for a strong Statement of Purpose/Personal Statement, some work experience or specific subjects to have been studied at an advanced level. English Language Requirements
Students who do not speak English as their first language, and have not studied in the English medium, will be required to provide a recognised English qualification.

Scholarships, Fees and Funding
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ International Scholarships:
The University is pleased to offer a number of competitive scholarships of up to £3,000 each for new international applicants undertaking their first year of study on an Undergraduate or Postgraduate degree. The scholarship is granted as a reduction of the tuition fee and is available to students who are self-funding with an international tuition fee of more than £12,500 for a single year of study only. Scholarship applications can be made by applicants who have applied to study at the University, it is not required to wait for an offer.
Federal Student Aid:
Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is a Title IV School and is therefore authorised by the US Department of Education to certify applications (for eligible students) for Federal Student Aid (FSA/U.S. Direct Loans). Please note that you need to apply to Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ to receive your loans: we are NOT automatically notified once you complete your FAFSA. The application has 6 stages and typically takes 8 weeks. Plan early. Our Federal School Code is G33494.
