I graduated with a degree in psychology in Mexico in 2002 and later qualified as an art therapist in Barcelona in 2007.
After qualifying I decided to work with children and young people and I have worked in a variety of settings including residential care homes with young girls and also with toddlers who were waiting to be adopted; I have also worked in parent-infant projects, with street children in Mexico, in mainstream education and private practice.
My clinical practice has developed in Mexico, Catalonia and the United Kingdom and I have extensively worked with children from birth to 25.
Since 2010 I have lectured widely on art therapy programs across Europe before I joined Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ. I also lecture on other art therapy programmes.
I am an active member of the European Federation of Art Therapy, working together to strength the profession across Europe.
I have recently completed studies in child and infant observation and I am interested to research and highlight the importance of early therapeutic support.
