Referral Scheme Terms and Conditions
Terms and conditions of the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ International Student Referral Scheme
- To refer a student, you must either be a graduate of Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ or be actively studying a an undergraduate or postgraduate degree course with the University and be a national or resident of a country outside the UK and Republic of Ireland.
- To be referred, you must by an international fee-paying student and a national or resident of a country outside the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
- The scheme only applies to students who are referred to, and go on to study at, our Edinburgh campus. The scheme does not apply to courses delivered entirely online.
- Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is not liable to make a payment in the event that a prospective student is not offered a place on the course, chooses not to accept the offer, does not start the course or is withdrawn from the course due to non-participation, or does not complete the first 10 weeks of the course for any reason.
- Retrospective claims for students already on the relevant course do not qualify.
- Payment goes to the person making the referral, not the prospective student, 10 weeks after the referred student has matriculated.
- Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ reserves the right to amend or withdraw this alumni referral scheme at any time.
- The referral scheme does not apply in situations where the prospective student has already applied to study with Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ in the last two years, or has already studied with Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ regardless of the length of time of previous study.
- The referral scheme does not apply in situations where the course fee for the prospective student is less than £4000.
- Referred students must apply and enrol on a programme of study at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ within 12 months of being referred.
